Annalynn was admitted to the hospital with an infection in the lining of her intestines, also because she was neutropenic which means her immune levels were too low. Because she had the infection she could not eat or drink or have any nutrients by mouth for 3 days and had to be fed through her central line.
Annalynn's hair started to fall out over the Labor Day weekend and by the time she was released from the hospital on September 8th she had lost 90% of her hair. Her daddy shaved his head in support of her on the 7th (with help from Annalynn.) Uncle Dan also shaved his head in support. When Annalynn saw Uncle Dan after, he still had a moustache. He had to pull the clippers back out because Annalynn teased him about still having hair on his head.
Annalynn had her head completely shaved on the 8th of September when she got home from the hospital.
Annalynn's cousin Kody was admitted to the hospital on September 3rd also. Annalynn was more worried about Kody than she was about herself (as was her parents for a few moments). She relentlessly teased Kody about just wanting to be more like her. He had an accident while riding in the rodeo. He had some short term memory loss, but recovered just fine!!!
